Terms of service
Last updated 1 September 2026
1. Who we are
These terms govern the carriage of goods by Triway Courier ("we", "us") for the person or business booking a shipment ("you"). Booking a shipment means you accept them.
2. What we agree to do
We will collect your shipment within the collection window for the service you selected, carry it with reasonable care, and deliver it to the address you gave us. Delivery deadlines are the target we measure ourselves against, not a guarantee against events outside our control.
3. What you agree to do
You confirm that the contents are accurately described, lawfully sent, adequately packed for carriage, and that the weight and dimensions you declared are correct. We may re-measure and re-price a shipment that differs materially from its declaration.
4. Things we will not carry
Cash and negotiable instruments, live animals, human remains, firearms and ammunition, explosives, illegal drugs, hazardous or perishable goods without prior written agreement, and anything whose carriage is prohibited by law.
5. Prices and payment
The price shown at booking is the price recorded against the shipment. Prepaid shipments must be paid before collection. Account customers are invoiced on the agreed terms; overdue balances may lead to suspension of collections.
6. Cash on delivery
Where you ask us to collect cash, we do so as your agent. We reconcile collected cash against the courier who took it and settle it to you on the agreed cycle. We are not responsible for a recipient who declines to pay; the shipment then follows the failed-delivery process.
7. Failed delivery and returns
Where delivery cannot be completed we record the reason and attempt again. After the number of attempts published on our site the shipment is returned to you, and return carriage may be charged.
8. Liability
Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the shipment where insurance was purchased, and otherwise to the limit published in our rate card. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or contract. Claims must be raised within seven days of delivery or of the expected delivery date.
9. Insurance
Insurance is optional and priced on the declared value. Without it, the standard limit applies regardless of the actual value of the goods.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you booked.
